Welcome To

Rongai Route

The Rongai Route is one of the less-travelled routes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. It starts from the north-eastern side of the mountain, near the Kenya border, and is considered to be one of the easiest routes in terms of elevation gain and acclimatization. The trail is scenic and less crowded than other routes, making it a great choice for those who prefer a quieter and more peaceful trekking experience.

The Rongai Route typically takes around 6-8 days to complete, depending on the itinerary chosen. The trail passes through a diverse range of landscapes, from lush rainforest to alpine meadows and rugged rocky terrain, providing trekkers with incredible views and the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife.

One of the main advantages of the Rongai Route is that it offers excellent opportunities for acclimatization, which is crucial for a successful summit attempt. The route features a gradual ascent that allows trekkers to adjust to the altitude gradually and safely, reducing the risk of altitude sickness.

The Rongai Route is an excellent choice for those looking for a relatively easy and less-crowded route to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Its stunning scenery, great acclimatization opportunities, and peaceful atmosphere make it a memorable experience for anyone looking to summit Africa's highest peak.
